Kevin and Laura Pehler

Kevin and Laura Pehler. Quoted in the Oconomowoc Enterprise newspaper, Kevin said “I would be remiss to say my wife makes me look good.” We agree!

Oconomowoc Area Foundation board member and all around great guy, Kevin Pehler was named “Oconomowoc Citizen of the Year” by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 2. The annual recognition “aims to honor the exceptional achievements, contributions, and triumphs of local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders.” Award recipients are selected from nominations made by chamber members and the broader community. Not only does Kevin volunteer his time with the OAF, and is the magic behind our amazing videos and other marketing efforts, he also is a changemaker for many other area nonprofits, including German Christmas Market, Oconomowoc Rotary and its Foundation Board, the Oconomowoc
Parade Committee, Oconomowoc High School, and others.

“I’m extremely humbled by the hoopla and can think of a ton of people that (in my eyes) have made bigger impacts in our community. I’m very honored the chamber would recognize me and the people that made the submission are amazing,” Pehler said.

Thank you, Kevin for everything you do – we are so very grateful to have you in our lives!
