2025 OAF Grants Celebration Group

In 2025, the OAF awarded a record $341,000 to 45 local nonprofit organizations working to make meaningful differences in the greater Oconomowoc community.

Grant Guidelines

The Oconomowoc Area Foundation makes grants to organizations that serve communities within the Oconomowoc Area School District, including the towns of Ashippun, Okauchee, Ixonia, Summit, Dousman, and Nashotah. It is not necessary that the organization be physically located within these communities, but that it can demonstrate it provides services to the residents of these communities.

Priorities for Support from the Oconomowoc Area Foundation Fund

  • Programs for children and youth.

  • Programs providing support services for seniors.

  • Programs providing support services for people facing undue hardship or life-threatening conditions.

  • Programs that preserve and protect the environment and wildlife.

  • Programs that enrich the community through economic, cultural and arts development.

  1. Tuesday April 21, 8:30-10:00 a.m.: OAF Grant Process Info Meeting for Nonprofits at The Oconomowoc Community Center, 220 W. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc
  2. Monday, May 4: OAF Online Grant Cycle Opens
  3. Friday, June 5: OAF Online Grant Cycle Closes
  4. Friday October 23, 5:30 p.m.: OAF Annual Celebration and Grant Announcements at Weissgerber’s Golden Mast Inn, W349 N5293 Lacy’s Lane, Okauchee
