Nick Bickler
Nick Bickler
Nick has lived in the Oconomowoc area for nearly his entire life. He and his wife Brooke currently reside in the Village of Oconomowoc Lake with their two French Bulldogs. Nick is the Chief Investment Officer at Three Leaf Partners, a Milwaukee based commercial real estate investment and development firm. Nick is an active Oconomowoc community member, most recently leading a collaborative event with the Pat Connaughton Foundation, the Lake Country DockHounds, and the OAF which brought a basketball clinic to Oconomowoc area grade school children. Nick also serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Review for the Village of Oconomowoc Lake, is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and an annual participant in Christopher’s Shoot Against Childhood Cancer. In his spare time Nick enjoys boating, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
Randy Bourdo
Randy Bourdo
Randy Bourdo has lived in the Oconomowoc area his entire life. A 1985 graduate of Oconomowoc High School. Randy married his wife Laura in 1990 and their two children and granddaughter all live in the area. Randy co-founded Industrial Vacuum Equipment Corp in 1992. This Ixonia based company is a supplier of state-of-the-art vacuum equipment for industries worldwide. The company’s achievements include several contracts with the US Navy and being featured on the History Channel’s Modern Marvels TV Show. Randy and his family enjoy traveling, as well as downhill and water skiing. Giving back to the community that he lived his entire life is why he enjoys being part of the OAF Board of Directors.

Glenn and his wife have called charming Oconomowoc home for over 35 years. His 31-year-old career with a local real estate company and the deep connections to other like-minded families who desire to see great things for their community is the inspiration for serving on the OAF board; an experience which has been an honor and a personal delight.
Terry Holahan
Terry Holahan
Terry and his wife Lisa returned to Oconomowoc in 2002, raising their two sons in his childhood home that they purchased from his mom. He and his family can often be found on the tennis courts, walking around the community or boating on the lake, and enjoying the city’s great restaurants. Terry has worked for Northwestern Mutual since 1999 and Lisa is a family law attorney. He feels it is truly a pleasure and a privilege representing the community as a board member of the Oconomowoc Area Foundation.
Paula Jacobs
Paula Jacobs
Paula’s non-profit work spans 30 years. YMCA roles focused on operations, marketing and philanthropy led her to Oconomowoc in 2001. She joined efforts to build the YMCA and became development VP until 2014. Paula is Vice President, Philanthropy for ProHealth Care. Her community involvement includes Rotary leadership, Women of Distinction awards judge, in addition to serving on various advisory teams. She received the Women in Business Leadership award in 2013. Paula feels privileged to help steward gifts from generous OAF donors to meet critical needs and enrich life for people of all ages. Paula and husband, Sean, have enjoyed raising two children in Oconomowoc’s beautiful setting.
Bob Johnson

Bob has lived most of his life in Wisconsin; he and his incredible wife Julie, who passed away in 2010, along with their two young children and Golden Retriever moved to Oconomowoc in the late 90s. Their son, daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren still live in the community. Bob spent 25 years working in the computer and software industries, starting in sales and working up to senior management, and ultimately ownership. After selling the business, he spent the next 20 years with Baird as Vice President and Financial Advisor. Bob’s love for his community has inspired his active involvement in serving on boards of the YMCA, OHS Booster Club, Ausblick Ski Team, La Belle Yacht Club and Sailing School, Wisconsin Junior Racing, and the OAF.
Amy Kavelaris
Amy Kavelaris
Born and raised in Oconomowoc, Amy has lived around the country, but came back with her husband to raise their family in one of the best cities in the nation! Amy finds great joy in serving this incredible community through some of the most wonderful non-profits, including Zachariah’s Acres, committee chair for the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, and through the great honor of serving with the OAF. Amy is a best-selling author, illustrator, commercial artist, and business owner. She grew up drawing and writing poetry in a tree overlooking the lake and now her work can be spotted in Target, Walmart, Costco, Anthropologie, Better Homes & Gardens, as well as in homes around the globe. She has collaborated with countless clients, including Grammy Award-Winning artists, Skechers Shoes, Pampers Diapers, and has served as a judge for the Miss America Foundation. Amy and her family live in Oconomowoc, where they enjoy playing tennis together, paddle boarding, traveling, serving in their children’s school and church community.
Susan Kay

Susan and her husband Tim have been blessed to live in the Lake Country area for 35 years, where they raised to their two children. They have been actively involved in their growing community, from successful school referendums, to serving on the Oconomowoc School Board for 12 years. Susan’s commitment to Oconomowoc has always been a very large part of who she is. Owning her business for 35 years afforded Susan the opportunity to have time to serve on many boards, locally and nationally. The OAF Board gives her a great sense of pride knowing that the foundation has been able to help so many organizations that help families in need. And now, after 35 years, Susan is enjoying retirement.
Katie Newcomb
Katie Newcomb
Katie is communications director for UW-Madison’s Global Health Institute. Katie has been in public relations and marketing for over 25 years and worked with some of Southeastern Wisconsin’s and Northern California’s most sought after tourism attractions such as the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Public Museum, Milwaukee Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, and the Sonoma County Museum. She is also past president of the Jefferson County Area Tourism Council. Her agency work also afforded her the opportunity to work with an array of clients including BMO Harris, Ascension, Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Gitano Jeanswear’s sponsorship of Shania Twain’s Tour, and many more. She is also an author, having penned the children’s book, Balthazar the Pink, with her two sons. She is big on partnerships and brainstorming and loves working with the OAF to continue their legacy as a thoughtful leadership and giving community organization.
Kevin Pehler
Kevin Pehler
Kevin was raised in Oconomowoc since the age of three and moved out of state after college. He and his wife, Laura, raised two kids in Georgia and Massachusetts before returning to Oconomowoc, the town they took for granted, in 2016. Kevin started a media company called 3barn shortly upon his return home. He belongs to several local organizations that all have the common belief of doing good – the OAF being the epitome of that!
Pat McNamee
Pat McNamee
Pat is a life-long resident of Oconomowoc. He and his wife Mary Sue have two grown children and three grandchildren. He is founder and president of Pat’s Heating & Air Conditioning, which is celebrating its 33rd anniversary this year. Pat has long been involved in the community and has served on the Vision Committee, as well as past President of Board of Directors for the YMCA at Pabst Farms in Oconomowoc, and on the Board of Directors for the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Foundation. He has also been instrumental in the development of real estate projects in the area including Summit Center Marketplace, Woodside Farms Subdivision, and the Stanton Place Apartments. In his spare time Pat enjoys archery hunting and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Todd Scheid

Todd has worked in the beautiful Oconomowoc area community for most of his banking career, which spans nearly 38 years. He and his wife Leah have two children (Bryn and Drew) who are very art/music oriented individuals. Todd values the opportunity to give back whenever called upon, and embraces what the OAF focuses on for priorities within the Oconomowoc area, including arts, cultural programs, youth/teens, economic development and more.
Cal Schmidt

Cal and his wife Suzy have been part of the Oconomowoc community since 1991. Cal is retired from Northwestern Mutual, where he was a senior executive. His roles included leading all product operations, leading the broker dealer, and information technology. In addition to his role on the OAF, Cal is an active volunteer for Catholic Memorial High School, St. Jerome Parish, Rogers Behavioral Health System, the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs, and several lake and snowmobile organizations in Forest County, where he spends time with Suzy at their lake home.
Bob Snyder
Bob Snyder
Robert is an attorney practicing in Oconomowoc with Snyder & Ek law firm. His practice focuses on estate planning and services for closely held businesses. Robert graduated from Marquette University in 1985 with a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting degree, and Marquette University Law School in 1988. He is Chairman of the Board at Bank Five Nine and serves as council or as a board or committee member for multiple non-profits in the greater Oconomowoc area.
Andrea Stack
Andrea Stack
Andrea, her husband Greg and two sons have lived and sailed on Lac La Belle off and on for over 20 years. Inspired by her neighbors’ commitment to this community, and now retired, Andrea felt ready to join the cause. She brings significant experience in finance, education, and working with nonprofit organizations to fulfilling OAF’s mission and creating lasting progress.
Nate Zastrow
Nate Zastrow
Nate is a lifelong resident of Oconomowoc. He and his wife Kristie, have two teenagers Maximus and Augustus (he actually won the naming rights in a pinball game in Key West, FL). Nate is an Executive at Bank Five Nine. He has spent his entire 30 year career at the bank, starting as a teller. Nate is passionate about community banking, economic development, and philanthropy – be it time, treasure, or talent. Nate was heavily involved in the reformation of downtown Oconomowoc, especially acting as the OAF liaison to complete the Boardwalk. A former OAF Chairman, Nate is excited to rejoin the Board. Nate has served on multiple non-profit boards including two time Past President of the YMCA, Rogers Foundation, founder of Waukesha Center for Growth, expansion vision committee for OHS and St. Paul’s Church. At one point he was a member of six boards leading four of them as President. Nate loves giving back to the Oconomowoc Community and as result was named Citizen of the Year in 2019.

Rebecca stepped into the role of Foundation Coordinator in January 2024, after serving on the OAF’s board of directors for the last two years. Rebecca grew up in the Lake Country area, returning to Oconomowoc in 2006. As a writer and photojournalist for nearly 25 years, she has had the opportunity to cover positive feature stories for the Oconomowoc Arts Center, community newspapers and publications, and nonprofit organizations. Rebecca also serves on the board for the Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund, and most recently for Family Promise of Waukesha County and Oconomowoc High School Band Aids. She and her husband Bill and their two daughters live alongside a beautiful little lake just outside of Oconomowoc.
Will Janisch
Will JanischSenior Philanthropic Adviser, Greater Milwaukee Foundation
Will Janisch has worked in the nonprofit development field for over two decades and has been with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation for since 2011 managing their affiliate community foundations in Oconomowoc, Cedarburg, and West Bend. In this capacity Will provides administrative support, new donor development, board management, and donor services to a growing portfolio.
Dani Breen
Dani BreenProgram Officer, Greater Milwaukee Foundation
Dani has been a Program Officer at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation since 2019 and has supported the Oconomowoc Area Foundation in their grant making since then. In this role she helps area nonprofits through the process of applying for grants, as well as working with the OAF board to make funding decisions. Before coming to the foundation, Dani worked as a community organizer in Milwaukee and currently resides in Milwaukee.
