The Oconomowoc Area Foundation receives numerous grant requests from area nonprofit organizations

We are grateful to the area nonprofit organizations that took the time to apply for grants from the Oconomowoc Area Foundation during this year’s grant cycle. Supporting their efforts in serving the greater Oconomowoc community is why we exist.
Since its founding in 2002, the OAF has awarded nearly five million dollars to 125 area nonprofit organizations focused on caring for children, families, and the elderly, developing youth, helping those in need, preserving the environment, and enriching the community culturally and economically.
The OAF is dedicated to working together to meet the changing needs and enhance the lives of many for years to come. In 2023, the OAF awarded nearly $300,000 in grants to 32 nonprofit organizations impacting the greater Oconomowoc community.
Next Steps
The OAF’s Grants Committee, made up of dedicated volunteer members of our board, will thoroughly evaluate the grant requests, making sure foundation funds are allocated to meet the changing needs of the community.
As a group, they will make recommendations to the Board of Directors during their meeting held end of August. Nonprofits will be notified of their decision in early September.
We look forward to hosting the Oconomowoc Area Foundation’s Annual Celebration and Grant Announcements at 5:30 p.m. Friday, October 25, at The Golden Mast Inn on Okauchee Lake.
